How Microsoft 365 Works with Triumphant
Triumphant sets up and manages Microsoft 365 for every managed client, from the tenant itself down to the licenses and security policies on it. Here's how that actually works.
Setting Up Your Tenant
When you come on board, we create and configure your Microsoft 365 tenant, your organization's dedicated environment for email, Teams, OneDrive, and everything else in the Microsoft 365 ecosystem. We manage it through delegated admin access rather than holding onto a set of your global admin credentials, so we can administer your tenant without you having to hand over the keys outright.
Licensing & Pass-Through Billing
Licenses are billed at pass-through pricing, what Microsoft charges is what shows up on your invoice, added to your account rather than marked up. As your headcount changes:
- Adding a new hire means adding a license, submit a ticket and we'll get it provisioned.
- Removing someone means we can deprovision their license (and account access) the same way.
MFA & Security Defaults
Multi-factor authentication (MFA) is enforced tenant-wide. This isn't optional or something we turn on request, it's one of the single most effective controls against account compromise, and the vast majority of breaches we see elsewhere trace back to an account without it.
- Every user is required to enroll in MFA before they can access company email, Teams, or files.
- If you get a new device or lose access to your authentication method, submit a ticket rather than trying to work around it, we can get you back in properly.
What You Should Do
- Submit a ticket for anything involving a new hire, an offboarding, or a license change, rather than handling it directly in the Microsoft portal.
- Report anything MFA-related that seems off (unexpected prompts, a code you didn't request) immediately, that's often the first sign of a compromised account.
